What does “delay” mean?
When we run your 4473 background check through the PICS system, they will provide us with three possible responses.
1. Proceed: this means you may leave with your firearm now.

3. Denied: this is the third, but uncommon, response you can receive, prohibiting us from transferring the firearms to you. If you receive a denial we strongly recommend an appeal process so you can get your rights restored. In the unlikely event you are denied unexpectedly, we will walk you through the appeal process.
